I wasn't able to take a satisfactory photo of what I was wearing yesterday, so to make up for it, I will talk about Burberry.
You saw that one coming. This blog should be renamed "Burberry" or something.
For most people, Burberry is pretty much out of the budget. This iconic Burberry trench:
costs $795. And the catwalk collection, Burberry Prorsum, currently has this:
which will set you back $3595.
I suppose most people who have a job can save up for a Burberry trench of any price. But then there's the part of the population who don't have jobs and still want a Burberry trench. Half of them are living under their parents' house and are called "kids".
I am one of those kids.
Now, most companies selling garments cater to this demographic, but they assume that by the time a person reaches the age of 15 she can already wear her mom's Ivybridge. Some kids don't, though.
Case in point: Me. I'm a kids' size 14 and the kids' Ivybridge on the Burberry website is my size.
I'm 17.
:)
