The key that unlocks energy is desire. It's also the key to a long and interesting life. If we expect to create any drive, any real force within ourselves, we have to get excited.

~Earl Nightingale

Well, lucky me, because I just found me some inspirational pieces at inspirational prices at TheOutnet.com.

Wait, have I told you that already? Let me tell you that again.

Oh, no, I haven't.

I'm a college student, and I like dressing weird, so CollegeFashion.net became my bible. On one ordinary, unsophisticated day, which was really just yesterday, I decided to part-peruse-part-skim through the archives. I don't know how you do it, but that's what I did. And I found this.

I knew Net-A-Porter existed because it was where I found the Burberry Prorsum leather ankle boots from I don't know which season (I'm sorry! I looked it up but I didn't find it), and I knew from that that they have a lot of nice stuff for sale, so I thought I'd give the article a shot. It's short, so I got to the end, and that's when I discovered TheOutnet.com.

I went to the site and stared at the shoes section, and I swear I felt an adrenaline rush. I mean, seriously, where can you find a pair of shoes that were sold for £1288 that's listed on the site for £258? It's high fashion that's somehow within reach for me.

Yes, I am dreaming. But I believe.

So far this pair is my favorite. It kind of reminds me of the Louis Vuitton Cancan pumps that I again can't remember from which season. I'm thinking it's FW09 though, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, the shoes are by Jil Sanders and the original price is £627.20, and it's up on The Outnet for £250.88. Sizes IT 35 to IT 41 are available, except for IT 35.5.

I also checked out the trench coats and found an Aquascutum trench beside a Burberry trench, which I found kind of funny, really.

The Aquascutum trench is nice because it looks really classic with a really unexpected twist:

Sadly, it doesn't come in my size. I'll probably get a good tailor to make me a trench like that, but, I don't know.

And I still prefer the classic Burberry trench. Don't get me wrong, it's cute. It doesn't come in my size either, though.

Go to The Outnet.com. Go. Now.
