We are, in truth, more than a half of what we are by imitation.

~Lord Chesterfield

Not saying it's a bad thing, I just find that this coat from Bird by Juicy Couture:

$800 at Net-A-Porter

reminds me a bit too much of these:

Not that it's a bad thing, really, all I'm saying is...honestly I don't know what I'm saying. I guess the Bird by Juicy Couture collection is kind of nice and I would probably love to get my hands on them – that is, if they came free. I'm also thinking I could probably get those clothes cheaper from other shops. They look a tad too plain for my taste.

I think I would drool over this, though.

$600 at Net-A-Porter
...if I didn't see one like it at Mango for $140 a few months back.

And besides, if I had $800 lying around, I would rather buy this...

$795 at Nordstrom

...and die of the heat because I live in the tropics.

I'll probably settle for this:

Nummy nummy. $795 at Nordstrom

I think P&G did a good job on this collection, though. I honestly don't think it's too pricey, and it's nice and chic (that coming from someone who loves to wear black all the time) and a nice change from the pastel colors (and sometimes horrid combination of such) from Juicy Couture.

I wish they sent me those, too.
